Bringing together the perspectives of individuals of all backgrounds, gender, life experiences, etc. creates better outcomes for our clients, our people, and our company. Different perspectives eliminate blind spots and create a better basis for decision-making. Furthermore, a diverse talent pool ensures that competencies and aspirations are brought into play. We strive to create a culture of inclusion throughout the whole company. We want to create a work climate characterized by interpersonal trust and mutual respect in which people are comfortable being themselves, w here people’s contributions are valued, and where everyone’s perspectives are appreciated and respected. We expect our employees to support these values and reject any kind of discrimination, whether based on gender, age, religion or faith, political views, race, color, ethnic and national origin, social condition, sexual orientation, or disability. This applies to our current as well as potential employees, customers, suppliers, and partners. To ensure our company lives up to these ambitions, we have established a Steering Committee that implements and assesses concrete actions, policies, and objectives, targeting our company’s culture and structure. Furthermore, KMD communicates this policy internally and externally through dialogue with employees, potential employees, suppliers, business partners, and customers. We report on the results of the diversity initiatives in the annual Sustainability Report, which is prepared under sections 99a and 99b of the Danish Financial Statements Act. Additionally, KMD complies with current diversity legislation, both national and international, such as the Danish Equality Law and Discrimination Law, or EU’s Directive 2000/78/EC against discrimination at work, and Directive 2006/54/EC on equal treatment for men and women in matters of employment and occupation.
