KMD POLICY – ENVIRONMENT KMD POLICY – ENVIRONMENT 1 PURPOSE The purpose of the policy is to set the direction for KMD Groups conduct with regards to our impact on the climate and environment. KMD strives to be a credible and environmentally responsible partner to our customers. 2 SCOPE _ The environmental policy addresses the monitoring and continuous improvement of KMD group’s impact on environment and climate. _ The policy affects both contractors, KMD employees, suppliers, outsourcing partners and customers. 3 POLICY STATEMENTS KMD group strives to be a credible and environmentally responsible partner to our customers. As a company KMD will be responsible with regards to our impact on the climate and environment. To mitigate our own carbon footprint, in 2030 KMD committed to the tar - get of zero carbon emissions from our own business. The direct impact of KMD on the climate and the environment mainly origins in our energy spend from datacenter and print centre and from the goods and services we purchase. We work systemically to optimize the way we run our business and how we develop new it- services and other products in an environmentally responsible manner. In addition, we aim to improve the environmental impact in our supply chain via environmental and climate requirements as set out in KMD’s Supplier Code of Con- duct. Although IT -services through the use of energy, minerals, and metals impact the planet significantly, IT-services can also help reduce the global impact on the climate and the environment. KMD Group offer it-solutions that has the potential to reduce traffic, reduce use of paper and reduces energy spend and help optimize our clients’ business. Thus, we also see our products and services as one of our greatest assets in the quest to help our customers to a more sustainable footprint. We are aware of KMD Group’s consumption and impact through continuous monitoring. In areas that are considered important to the environment as well as KMD Group’s business, we prioritize initiatives. These are exemplified in our climate- and environmental strategy which updated every two years. KMD Group is compliant with all relevant environmental legislation and we adhere to other commitments such as the UN Global Compact principles.
